I am an experienced educator with over 17 years of teaching experience in UK schools, including leadership roles as a former Assistant Principal and Head of Mathematics.

Throughout my career, I have supported students of different abilities to make significant academic progress. I have helped students achieve more than two grades above their original target grades, while also supporting pupils to achieve excellent outcomes in the 11+ and 13+ entrance examinations.

For me, tutoring is about more than simply improving grades. I believe that when students understand what they are doing, know how to approach challenges and experience success, their confidence grows alongside their academic ability. Building that confidence has always been one of the most rewarding parts of my work.

My experience in school leadership has also given me a strong understanding of how children learn, where they can struggle and, importantly, how to identify the gaps that may be holding them back. I use this experience to provide structured, focused support that is tailored to each student's individual needs.

I am also a mother of three boys, all of whom successfully passed their 11+ examinations. This has given me a personal perspective on the 11+ journey and the balance between academic preparation, confidence building and keeping children motivated.
